Another classic which so eloquently captures the simplicity and beauty of Italian cooking. This is a book to read, then cook from, cover-to-cover. There are no photographs, and they are unnecessary as the recipes are so clearly described you can almost taste them as you read. I can’t help but agree with Nigella who says, “I kiss the ground she walks on.”
