From the co-founder of Ottolenghi, and the co-author of Jerusalem, this is Sami’s follow up to the wonderful Falastin. Initially he intended to write a book that celebrated Palestinian street food, but as he developed the book he found himself gravitating to the simple vegetable-based dishes he grew up with, updated for modern cooks. From fresh and vibrant to comforting and hearty, this has to be one of the best vegetable-centred books to hit the shelves in years.
Felicity O’Driscoll of Cook the Books brings us her pick of the new releases.
