Florence’s clever, thoughtful cooking is innovative, while feeling nostalgic. If you are not happy with her devilishly salted coconut canelé ice cream, with the most sensational gooey, sticky apricot (baked in smashed-up apricot kernel syrup) with crunchy, toasty, cinnamony breadcrumbs and dustings of coffee and vanilla, you never will be.
