600g green beans, stalk ends trimmed
zest of 1 orange
juice of 1⁄2 orange
20g butter, softened
1⁄4 cup slivered almonds, toasted


1.Cook the beans in boiling water until tender.
2.Drain and combine with the orange zest, juice and butter.
3.Place in a serving dish, sprinkle the toasted almonds over and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
