10-12 mild green chillies, roughly chopped
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
3 green kiwifruit
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar


1.Put the chillies, salt and cayenne pepper in a food processor and whizz for 30-40 seconds.
2.Add the kiwifruit and apple cider vinegar and whizz again for approx 45 seconds until a smooth sauce forms.
3.Taste and adjust to your heat preference – if you want more of a kick add more cayenne pepper and if it’s a bit too hot for you, add another kiwifruit.
4.This makes a great accompaniment to beer-battered mussels.
