Ingredients

1 tablespoon honey
a good pinch of smoked paprika
2 teaspoons crushed pink Himalayan salt
6 ice cubes
4 shots Licor 43
¾ cup orange juice
a pinch of saffron threads
soda, to top up

Licor 43 is a Spanish liqueur infused with 43 different ingredients such as citrus, vanilla bean, spices and botanicals. (Galliano would be a good substitute if desperate). The smoky, salty rim adds an interesting twist.

Instructions

1.Dip or brush the rim of each glass with the honey then dip into the combined paprika and salt to coat the rim.
2.In a jug combine the ice, Licor 43, orange juice and saffron and mix well. Pour into glasses and top up with soda.
