Ingredients

60ml silver tequila
(use 100% agave tequila – I like Patrón Silver, Herradura, Don Julio)
30ml Cointreau
3ml fresh lime juice
1-2 teaspoons sugar, to taste
lime discs, to garnish, plus a wedge of lime for the glass rim
chilli salt, for the glass rim

Instructions

1.Add the tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, sugar and a big handful of ice into a shaker.
2.Shake hard until the shaker is frosty.
3.Run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and dip it in the chilli salt.
4.Fill the chilli-salted glass with fresh ice and strain the drink over the ice.
5.Garnish with a lime disc and enjoy.
