Local speciality coffee roasters Kōkako have come up with a genius idea to help their wholesale customers during the pandemic woes. Hospo at Home is a downloadable e-book, with 55 signature recipes from various Kōkako stockists, including Flour Mill, Dedwood Deli, Vaniyé Patisserie and top Auckland restaurants Cotto, Cibo and Ada. 90% of the profits will be split between the contributors, with the rest going to Everybody Eats, which tackles food waste and poverty in New Zealand. Starting at $10, customers can choose to pay what they think the e-book is worth, or give a bit extra to support their favourite cafés and restaurants.
