Wairau River Reserve Chardonnay 2023 (Marlborough)
Initially smoky on the palate this wine has lovely understated ripe stone fruit aromas balanced against judicious, but well-handled oak that gives the nose lots of toast. These characters are mirrored on the palate which has lovely tension and great flavour concentration.Â
