Standing rock solid for over 26 years, owner Steve Logan’s restaurant can rightly claim the mantle of patriarch of capital eating. Together with long-time head chef Shaun Clouston and his team, Steve has established a place where diners enjoy world-class food and attentive, knowledgeable service in a calm, stylish atmosphere. The pāua ravioli, which has been on the menu almost since day one, brings diners back time and again, but Shaun’s contemporary menu of hāpuku with grilled radicchio and the coastal-raised lamb rump and hazelnut pappardelle serve superbly as drawcards for anyone looking for evidence of true commitment to local produce and genuine sustainability. Logan Brown has it all: class, consistency, an impressive drinks list and, most importantly, a carefully curated menu that successfully delivers perfectly.
