Despite the wild ride through the challenges of a global pandemic followed by the extreme lows of the effects of Cyclone Gabrielle, the team at Teresa aperitivo and cocktail bar – headed up by co-owners Sarah Mitchell and Andrea Marseglia (pictured above) – is forging a connection to locally grown food and networks with a strong ethos of sustainability and care. The small, intimate venue with only 25 seats is a world-class experience with an extensive drinks menu that includes an outstanding collection of amaro and vermouth, vintage spirits and an intriguing selection of more eclectic spirits. Expect the unexpected as you immerse yourself in cocktails derived from the Futurist movement, a manifesto that regarded cocktails as provocative, fleeting works of art.
